The Opportunity
As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping customer equipment operating safely and efficiently. Working independently across customer sites, you will service, maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
Servicing and maintaining diesel, petrol, and electrically powered small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment to service efficiently.
Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections and servicing activities.
Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries professionally.
Accurately recording all work electronically and ensuring required parts are ordered promptly.
Maintaining your company vehicle to a high standard and ensuring appropriate stock levels are carried.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through reliable and professional service.
Working in compliance with all customer, company, and health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll ideally have:
A relevant engineering or technical qualification.
Previous experience in a similar maintenance or field service engineering role.
A strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
